= $$$$$$
Energy drinks have a huge profit potential for bars and restaurants.
Many bars simply use half a can per drink, but what happens to the unused half can? Many times it is consumed by an employee or worse discarded.
That is an expensive loss on one drink. How then do we solve this issue?
A) Use a bulk (bag in box) energy drink. No waste as this is served from a dispensing gun.
B) Use the premium energy drink by the can and when ordered make 2 sales for each drink. Sale # 1 is the shot of liquor and sale # 2 is selling the entire can of energy drink. The profit on the sale increases and there is no product waste. The only down side is the price of the drink does increase with the sale of the entire energy drink. The great part is
there's almost always a guaranteed sale#3 for the unused part of the energy drink, namely a second liquor shot.
C) If pricing is a sensitive issue then offer a premium bomb with the premium energy drink and a cheaper alternative with the bulk energy drink. This cheaper alternative drink can also be used as a promoted item. (A price fighter not a loss leader)
At an average cost of $1.62 per can for the premium energy drink operators can’t afford to lose $0.70-$0.80 average on an energy drink?
A combination of these effective solutions will put profit to the bottom line.
